This issue occurs when there are some missing certificates in Trusted Root. Your browser needs to trust these certificates.

Identify the missing certificates and install them

To fix this issue, you need to identify the missing certificates and install them.

  1. Open the following link in any web browser.

    https://cc-api-storage.adobe.io/assets/adobe-libraries?order=asc&orderby=name

    You might receive any of the following generic warnings: 'Your connection is not private.' or 'The site is not secure.' If this happens, proceed to the next step.

  2. Click the lock icon in the address bar or the Show details option to learn about the missing certificates.

  3. Ensure that all root certificates are present as a trusted root authority.

    1. Go to Start > Run > certmgr.msc.
    2. Ensure that all listed certificates are present in Trusted Root Certificate Authorities > Certificates.
    3. Ensure that all listed certificates are present in Intermediate Certificate Authorities > Certificates.
    1. Go to Keychain Access > Certificates.

    2. Double-click a certificate.

    3. Click the Trust disclosure triangle to display the trust policies for the certificate.

    4. To override the trust policies, choose new trust settings from the pop-up menus.

    Note:

    You might have to export the missing certificates before you install them and add them to Trusted CA root store.

  4. Restart the browser and open the link again to verify if secure connection can be established.

  5. Restart the machine and launch your Creative Cloud app.

*Please Note: You need to have submitted a request through adobecc.usu.edu and received confirmation of your license before doing any of these steps*

1. Visit https://adobe.com

2. Click Sign In in the top right corner of the page

3. Enter your @usu.edu email address and click Continue

4. You will be redirected to the university's log in. Log in with your A# and strong password

5. A DUO two-factor authentication is required.

6. For easiest use, download the Creative Cloud app. From there, you manage and update all available Adobe software

7. Follow the prompts to download and install Creative Cloud

8. The select the file once it opens

9. At this point you will have to type in your administration password for the computer if required.

10. After the program is downloaded it will open up a new box. You will need to enter in your university email and select sign in

11. Again you will be brought to the university log in. Log in using your A# and strong password and be prompted with DUO

12. Finally you will be brought to a page where your software will be downloading. From here you can also select other software to download from the creative cloud.

If you are using a Windows computer follow these instructions:

1. Visit https://adobe.com

2. Click Sign In on the top right corner of the page

3. Enter in your university email address here and select sign in

4. It will then redirect you to the university's log in. Log in with your A# and password.

5. A Duo Push may be required

6. Select Desktop Downloads

7. Once the menu is open select which software you want to download. It is recommended to download and install the Creative Cloud Desktop app, then download additional apps through there. This ensures you can easily download other Creative Cloud packages and that they will remain up-to-date.


8. You will be asked to save or run the file. Run the file after it is downloaded if you are asked to save.

9. It will then install on your computer. Once it has finished installing you will need to enter in your university email again, and select sign in.

10. You will be redirected to the university log in after entering your email address. Once again log in with your A# and password. A DUO prompt may be required.

11. It will sign you in, and your software should be there ready to download. You can also choose to install any other software from this section.
